​UnityTec is an Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business headquartered in Frederick, Maryland. The company delivers an array of professional and technical services with an emphasis on program management, acquisition support, Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR), advanced analytics, and engineering. UnityTec’s clients include the Department of Defense (DoD) and federal civilian agencies.

The company has contracts with the Army, Navy, Defense Logistics Agency, and the Department of State, as well as commercial customers.

UnityTec’s leadership team includes executives from major defense contracting companies and retirees from government agencies, and its service methodology is to deploy integrated support teams consisting of skilled technicians, experienced analysts, and subject matter experts under the supervision of certified program management professionals.

UnityTec assists customers with industrial and information technology modernization and are currently providing PMO, Engineering and Analytical support for 23 distinct modernization projects. “We are also in the process of assisting an agency with audit readiness preparation services for its third formal FIAR Audit. Finally, we serve in the management of agency financial matters by validating assets, collecting and organizing data, implementing controls, and improving financial systems with holistic support and advanced data analytics services,” said Joe Dorsey, President, Government Solutions. “We provide expertise in development, implementation, and enhancement of analytics tools and techniques utilized in the decision-making process and establishing meaningful enterprise performance metrics.”

Dorsey explained how the Alliance has assisted in helping UnityTec begin to understand the large and small businesses and players in the Frederick area that already support or have an interest in supporting the Discovery, Development, and Delivery mission of Fort Detrick. “With the Alliance’s willingness and interest in collaboration, and with UnityTec as both a defense contractor and leading the AUSA Catoctin Chapter, we look forward to working together. We will leverage our contacts and relationships with national elements of the active and retired US Army. Working together, we think we can find new ways to better serve the Alliance’s local contractor community, the active Fort Detrick soldiers, and the Fort Detrick civil servants,” said Dorsey.

UnityTec is proud to be the thought leaders behind AUSA’s Catoctin Chapter. The company is also proud to be associated with an organization like AUSA-who is the Voice of the Army, Support for the Soldier, and Honors those who have Served. In addition, the company is excited to part of a national organization that was the single largest contributor ($42.5M) to the new National Museum of the United States Army opening in the Fort Belvoir area this year.
