Quarterly Networking Breakfast

October 26 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am

Join the Fort Detrick Alliance at Hood College-Whitaker Campus Center for our first networking breakfast of 2021 on Tuesday October 26.

Our speakers for this event are Amanda Haddaway, HR Answerbox and Adam Cubbage, CenterPoint Leadership Development.

Since Covid-19 emerged in early 2020, businesses have been impacted many ways.  As we begin to get closer to that “normal” we all felt pre-covid, the business landscape has been changing.  Today businesses are not only seeing a lack of workforce returning to the office, they have also been impacted by what is being termed, “The Great Resignation”.  Workers are leaving the workforce in search of other opportunities, early retirement or realizing they can adjust their lifestyles to accomodate changes in their work habits.  As workers leave a large amount of knowledge and wisdom is going with them.  Amanda will be speaking on how you can transition your workforce while keeping your office running smoothly.  Adam will discuss ways that you can help your workforce adjust to the changes no matter if they are a fresh college graduate or a long term employee.

Questions will be taken from attendees at the end of the discussion.  If you wish to submit questions ahead of time, please forward them to Dr. April Boulton,  Dr. Boulton is the Chair of the Alliance’s Workforce Development and Education Committee.  Please mark your subject line as “Quarterly Networking Breakfast Panel Question”.
