Gary Bockrath

Gary Bockrath has over forty years of senior financial and operations management experience in manufacturing and processing.  Most recently he was the Chief Operating Officer for Acton Mobile Industries in Baltimore and prior to that he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Silica Company, the second largest producer of industrial silica in the United States.  Before joining USS in 1993 he held various operating and financial management positions with Libbey Owens Ford Company and Guardian Industries, both leading manufacturers and fabricators of flat glass products for the automotive and architectural industry sectors.

 Mr. Bockrath is a 1974 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he was a member of their 1973 National Championship football team.  Currently he consults with several businesses and remains active in state and local community affairs as a board member on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board (Chairing the Advanced Manufacturing and Skilled Trades Task Force), the Washington County Economic Development Commission (Vice Chairman), the Hagerstown Regional Airport Authority (Vice Chairman) and Meritus Health Systems Finance Committee.
