Ms. Ellen Pfeiffer is with the DLH Corporation in the Advanced Mission Solutions division. She is focused on the Fort Detrick arena to expand business relationships, ensure exemplary contract performance, and to identify/pursue new business opportunities. DLH delivers innovative scientific research and full-lifecycle program management support services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies, providing clients with research development, scientific, advanced technology, and business operational expertise and experience. Prior to joining DLH in September 2019, Ellen provided Integrated Technology (IT) industry clients with the full range of capture, opportunity identification/assessment/qualification, business development and proposal coordination support services. As a seasoned business development strategist, she has supervised capture efforts and competitive proposal responses to international governmental entities, the Departments of the Army and Navy, Veterans Affairs, Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, Social Security Administration, US Postal Service, FAA and numerous State and Local Government entities. Ms. Pfeiffer’s previous employment history incorporates over 35 years of subject matter expertise developed supporting a wide array of large system integrators, as well as mentoring small businesses. She founded and served as President of the Palmetto Chapter of the Women in Defense (WID) during her residence in Charleston, SC supporting Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) — an experience that enhanced her appreciation of the value of networking to promote the development of strategic partnerships.
Ms. Pfeiffer holds political science and criminal justice degrees from The American University and is a Shipley Associates certified consultant.
