Terry Irgens
Board Member



Mr. Irgens, who has been a resident of Frederick County for 24 years, works at IBM as an Account Manager of Department of Defense Health Care. His previous experience includes 27 years in the United States Navy from which he retired in 1996 with the grade of Captain. After retirement, Mr. Irgens worked with Northrop Grumman and Computer Science Corporation before joining IBM in 2007.

Mr. Irgens received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the North Dakota State University in Fargo and a Masters of Science degree in Hospital Pharmacy from the same institution.

The Defense Logistics Agency inducted Mr. Irgens into its Hall of Fame in 2008. He is active in several professional organizations including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the American Pharmaceutical Association, the Association of Military Surgeons of the US, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and the American Academy of Medical Administrators.
