Mr. Miller joined the Fort Detrick Alliance Board of Directors in 2009. He currently works on the Fort Detrick campus for the United States Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) where he is the Chief of Contract and Fiscal Law in the office of the Staff Judge Advocate.

Mr. Miller’s previous professional positions include Senior Policy, Program, and Legal Analyst at SAIC; Command Judge Advocate at USAMRMC; Assistant General Counsel with the US Army; and Contract Law Attorney with the US Army’s Central Command, including work in Riyadh from 1991-1992.

After receiving his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1976, Mr. Miller attended the US Army’s Judge Advocate General Graduate Course. He also attended the US Army’s Command and General Staff College in 1987 and the Program Management Course at the Defense Systems Management College in 1989.

Mr. Miller is a Member of the California Bar Association and has resided in Frederick since 1992.
